Waev and GEM vehicles Join PalMar Studios as a Primary Partner on “Triangle Park,” a Documentary on the NFL’s First-Ever Game

Dayton, Ohio (July 19, 2022) – Triangle Park announces today that Waev, a leader in electric vehicles with its GEM EV, has solidified its support as a primary partner of Triangle Park, an upcoming documentary that celebrates the National Football League’s first-ever game, played in Dayton, Ohio.

GEM, the first commercially produced street-legal low-speed vehicle (LSV) in the U.S., is well-suited for athletic events and stadium campuses—by shuttling guests, grounds maintenance, and custom applications. Through the partnership with Triangle Park, Waev and GEM will provide support during filming on set and transporting individuals across PalMar Studios.

“We are thrilled to welcome Waev and GEM to the team, and we value their contributions,” said Allen Farst, director of Triangle Park and founder of PalMar Studios. “We will be using a GEM e4 and upfitting it with film equipment to move up and down the field to film historical re-enactment scenes and a GEM e6 for shuttling cast on set and guests at events. Having Waev’s support is nothing shy of awesome and we look forward to using GEM EVs for our films moving forward.”

"GEMs have proudly been put to work on American athletic fields for decades," said Keith Simon, Waev CEO and cofounder. "This is a unique opportunity to play a new role on the field, in the production of a fascinating story featuring the humble beginnings of professional football that will resonate with sporting fans, entrepreneurs, and the general public alike."

Filming will continue this year, with the movie scheduled to be released in fall 2022. Additional details will be announced on www.triangleparkmovie.com as they become available.

With capabilities of reaching more than 100 million homes in North America and nearly 1 billion homes worldwide, PalMar Studios will be making this must-see movie on several VOD platforms, including iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, VUDU, PlayStation and more.
